Pain is a message sent by the body to the brain, signaling the presence of disease, injury or strain. Without pain, you would be unaware of many problems – from torn ligaments to appendicitis. Pain is simply, Mother Nature’s way of telling you something is wrong.
Not all pain though, serves a useful function. While acute pain, as described above can alert us to a serious problem, chronic pain can linger long after an ailment or injury has healed in the body. Examples of chronic pain include backache, migraines, arthritis and fibro-myalgia. Pain can also disrupt sleep, cause hormone imbalances and produce fatigue, anxiety, depression, digestive disturbances, brain fog and many other symptoms.
In chronic cases, a new solution must be found and we may have the answer.
Often we give in and accept pain as a part of aging. Or we are told to kill the messenger with narcotics, anti-depressants and tranquilizers that take care of the symptoms, but not the cause of the pain. This kind of treatment cannot only mask symptoms of serious disease, but can also create a cycle of chronic pain that the drugs no longer work on.
For many people, particularly those in the western world, these pain relief solutions such as acupressure or acupuncture and herbal medicine are novel concepts. However, the rest of the world is probably wondering what the fuss is about, because these traditional approaches to pain relief have been around for thousands of years; Chinese Medicine, which relies on various techniques and herbs in order to balance the body’s internal energy, is over 5,000 years old. And at SOPHIA Natural Health Center, we are continually evolving with new techniques to help our patients.
One example is a new solution to chronic pain that has been developed and is showing great
success in our clinic as well as other clinics for the past 8 years.

How We Believe It Works
When you have had physical or emotional traumas (stress), tension can build up at the base of your skull and can pull on the meninges, which are not that flexible. Meninges are attached to all the nerve roots that exit your spine. When the meninges are pulled it could irritate those nerves.
Our discovery of NRCT has prompted us to invest significant time and resources to become licensed in this innovate technique NRTC stands for the Neurologic Relief Centers Technique. The NRC Technique (NRCT) releases the tension on the meninges thus releasing the irritation to the nerves. When your nerves are irritated you may experience symptoms because nerves control every function of your body. The vast majority of health problems other than infectious disease could be stress and neurological in nature.
Prior to using this technique everyone is tested. The test which takes 5-8 minutes will tell us whether you would benefit or not. Those who respond positively to the test alone have reported a 30-90% relief of symptoms immediately!!
See our testimonial section to see how others just like you have benefited from NRCT.
NRTC is usually painless and involves manual pressure techniques at selected points to relieve the compression or blockage and restore function.
If you suffer from chronic pain or fibromyalgia, you owe it to yourself to see if you are a candidate for NRCT. Call us today to schedule a test. The testing is FREE because we want to know whether we can help before you become a patient.
